Kelvin Chambers

About

Kelvin Chambers is a registered psychologist who has worked as senior psychologist and CEO for the Drug and Alcohol Multicultural Education Centre(DAMEC) for the past 20 years. Kelvin has developed CBT based programs and therapies that work across cultures to address dependency and substance misuse. Kelvin has worked extensively with adults, children and families in a solution focussed way to assist in better life management.

Kelvin has a passion and interest in working with people on the Autism Spectrum. Initially working with adults with Asperger’s and dependency issues, Kelvin has developed specialised skills in diagnosis, treatment and support. Kelvin authored a CBT treatment manual for people with dependency and Asperger’s that DAMEC now adopts. Kelvin works with a range of professionals including schools if required to develop good and supportive outcomes.

Kelvin is committed to and specialises in men’s health. He has worked extensively with men and families with relationship and therapeutic counselling. Kelvin can provide a client centred or family approach depending on your issue and need.
